Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park

The most famous of all the Christmas markets in London is located in Hyde Park. This is called Winter Wonderland, and it truly is a wonderland in this period. Here you can find lots of programs for kids and adults, and brand new in 2018 are programs like Peter Pan on Ice, Teletubbies Christmas Show, Ice Sculpting Workshops, The Enchanted Forest in The Magical Ice Kingdom and also something called The Comedy Club. These are only the newcomers in the area. Following the success of earlier years you can enjoy the fantastic ice rink in the area, a circus, a giant Ferris Wheel and, of course, shopping possibilities for those hungry, thirsty or looking for a nice souvenir.

Winder Wonderland 2018 dates: November 23rd, 2018 – January 6th, 2019

Would you like to visit a more traditional Christmas market instead? Check out this one.

Christmas market at Southbank Centre

There is a more traditional Christmas market located at Southbank Centre. This is a place where you can buy souvenirs, eat, and drink, and it is much easier to visit than the Winter Wonderland. Why? It has no entrance fee. The Winter Wonderland is an expensive experience as all the activities you do there cost money. So, if you would rather just walk around at a traditional market and spend money when you actually buy something, then the Southbank Centre Christmas market in London might be what you are looking for.

Southbank Centre 2018 Christmas market dates: December 8th, 2018 – January 9th, 2019

We wish all our readers a Merry Christmas and hope you will have some great travel time before Christmas in 2018 as well.
