On August 11th in 2017, it is time for the Premier League kick-off in the 2017-2018 season. The kick-off will be made at Emirates Stadium in London where Arsenal will play against Everton.

London is the capital of England and what better place to have the Premier League kick-off, than in the capital of the nation. And what better place for a Premier League kick-off, than at the Emirates Stadium.

There will be several matches played in London already during the Premier League kick-off weekend. In addition to the match between Arsenal and Everton on August 11th, there will be two more matches played in London on August 12th.

More Premier League matches in London

On August 12th last years champions Chelsea will be visited by Burnley at Stamford Bridge. While Chelsea plays at Stamford Bridge, Selhurst Park will be packed with Crystal Palace fans cheering for their team to beat the newly promoted Huddersfield. Our guess is that after these matches, nine out of nine possible points will remain in London. But, what about the other London teams?

What about the other London teams?

Tottenham will play their first Premier League match on August 13th. They will then travel to St James Park, where they will play against another newly Premier League promoted team, Newcastle. A few hours later Manchester United will have their Premier League premiere in the new season. On the other side of the field, another London team will fight for at least one point, West Ham United.

Muse concert in London 2013

Everybody knows the popular band, the Muse. The group formed in 1994 in England, in the city of Teignmouth, Devon County. The members are: Matthew Bellamy, the lead vocalist, lead guitarist and piano player, Christopher Wolstenholme the (bass and rhythm guitarist, he plays on harmonica and he participates as vocalist too and Dominic Howard the drummer. However they got big influence from another British band, the Radiohead, we can say, the Muse made their own style, and they are very important part of the modern music today.

Their last album released in 2012, this is The 2nd Law, to celebrate this, and they started a giant worldwide concert tour between September 2012 and September 2013. The band started the tour in England last autumn and they walked around Europe, Asia and North-America. But the European fans don’t have to wait another few years for the first tour, because The 2nd Law tour is still in progress, and the Muse will come to Europe again to make giant parties. The second European round’s first stations are naturally the cities in the home country, Great Britain. And what could be more English than the capital, London?

The Muse will shake up their fans and make a huge late spring party in the Emirates Stadium in London at 25 and 26 May 2013. Do not miss this unforgettable experience; buy your ticket still today! Have a great time!

Green Day London 2013

If you like Green Day you will probably be delighted to hear that they are coming to London on June 1st to perform in 2013. Even better is the fact that the Green Day concert will be arranged at Emirates Stadium, the home field of Arsenal FC, making it possible for around 80,000 people to gather together to rock’n roll together with Green Day as they rock the stage and play their best tunes. If you are a big fan of Green Day, you will probably want to see and hear the American Idiot musical as well which can be seen on different spots in England in 2013 as well. The American Idiot musical was nominated for several Tony Awards as it was created, for example Best Musical and Best Scenic Design. If you are interested in tickets for the musical, check out the WorldTicketShop link further down on the page.

Green Day has been an active band since 1987 and in that period they have sold more than 75 million records, an amazing number making them one of the most popular bands of our days. Green Day has also won five Grammy Awards, one for best alternative album for Dookie, best rock album for American Idiot, record of the year for Boulevard of Broken Dreams, best musical show for American Idiot and best rock album (again) for 21st Century Breakdown. As you understand this is a super popular band, and if you want to be there at the Emirates Stadium in 2013 on June 1st, you better hurry up and order your tickets as soon as possible.

Green Day today consists of Billie Joe, Mike and Tre Cool – and this autumn and in the start of 2013 they will release their name trilogy named Uno! Dos! Tre!. Make sure to listen to the trilogy lots of times before the concert, so that you can come prepared and know the songs they will play at the concert in London. Hopefully they will play some of their old hits as well, but probably most of the songs will be from their new records.

There are very few other Green Day concerts so far planned in 2013, but if you want to see them somewhere else outside London, then you could consider visiting the capital of Norway, Oslo, to be there at the Green Day concert on June 30th.
