Star Wars exhibition

This is a dream exhibition for Star Wars fans in London and Star Wars fans coming to London. It is arranged in the O2 and it is titled: Star Wars Identities – The exhibition.

Maybe you thought that the O2 Arena was about concerts only, but this exhibition will prove that to be wrong. Since November in 2016 the Star Wars Identities exhibition has been on display and it will remain there until September 2017. What can you expect if you decide to come and visit this Star Wars exhibition in London?

At the exhibition you will be able to discover and check out lots of original Star Wars effects that have been used in the different movies. As you discover these you will get a better understanding of what inspired and made the different Star Wars characters what they have become. And in the same question a question is asked back: What forces shape your life? What superhero would you be?

In the original description of the exhibition the following challenge is given: “Pick up your lightsaber…your journey into identity awaits!”

Exhibition on Picasso portraits

Between October 6th 2016 and February 5th 2017 there will be a fantastic exhibition on display in the National Portrait Gallery in London. On this exhibition you can see more than eighty works of Pablo Picasso showing his skills as a portrait painter. What makes his paintings so interesting is that they often differ a lot, and you will see his skills used in different ways in the different paintings.

Some of the works to be displayed in this exhibition are famous all around the world, while some of the works on display will be shown in the UK for the very first time. The exhibition is a cooperation between the National Portrait Gallery in London and the Picasso Museum in Barcelona.

The history of Sicily

Sicily exhibitionSicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean and it has given home to different cultures and civilizations throughout history. Now you can get to know the history of Sicily at a temporary exhibition in the British Museum.

In the period between April 21st and August 14th the exhibition named Sicily: culture and conquest will be shown in one of our favorite museums in London. The island has a special history with a mixture of cultures and people who have been ruling it.

The exhibition will tell the history of Sicily from the arrival of the Greeks and all the way till Norman rule in the 11th-13th century.

The entrance fee to this temporary exhibition in the British Museum is 10 GBP.

Rome in the 19th century

Would you like to know more about Rome in the 19th century? Visit the British Museum for a temporary exhibition showing the works of Francis Towne.

During a visit to Rome in 1780 and 1781 Francis Towne produced a whole lot of watercolors and know you can see all these together in a temporary exhibition in the British Museum in London. The exhibition opened on January 21st and will be on display until August 14th.

On the pictures you can see ancient baths, famous attractions in Rome such as the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill, Forum and much more. There are totally 52 pictures on display and all these pictures have not been displayed together since back in 1805.
